Cohort Global at Might & Power Race Day 2017

Cohort is pleased to have attended the Might & Power Race Day for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance on August 19th, 2017. This annual event aims to use the raised funds to support children and adults living with cerebral palsy. Thanks to the generosity at such events, the charity has raised more than $4.6 million over the past 18 years.

This year, Cohort raised over $400,00 to benefit the Cerebral Palsy Alliance in their endeavours. It has been the most that Cohort has ever raised. We have enjoyed the event and are already looking forward to next year’s Might & Power Race Day!

Meet our Sales Intern - Guy

What does your average day look like?

My usual mornings consists of sales prospecting. I technically find new business to pass on to the sales team. It’s a great feeling when you find a good match for the business and it’s the best time to catch-up with the rest of the team.

In the afternoon, I internally investigate leads that require double checking for clients. I make sure that there are no issues caused by our data. Attention to detail is very important.

What is your favourite part of the job?

Taking control of the music in the office. But more importantly, I was able to intern in both the Australia and London office, which is a great perk!

If you weren’t a Sales Intern what other role could you see yourself in?

I’d want the CEO’s job.

How do you describe your job to people who ask what you do?

Essentially, I bring in new business opportunities.

What’s the most unusual thing you’d done at Cohort?

I became a pint of Guinness by spraying my hair white. It was great.

Any tips for someone who wants to work here?

My biggest tips would be have a lovely attitude and good banter.

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea with Cohort for Cancer Council

The Sydney office had a great time raising funds for the Cancer Council and taking part in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. We were able to raise over $1000!

Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is an opportunity for Australians to raise money for a brilliant cause. The raised funds help to make a real difference in the Cancer Council’s research, prevention and services programs.  Cancer Council is the nation’s leading cancer charity, uniting the community, creating hope, providing support and saving lives.

Maral Kellet, our Ad Operations Manager, made an amazing effort to organise the event. Delicious tea alongside an assortment of breakfast snacks was provided. Raffle prizes were awarded and Rhonda White drew professional portraits of the team.

Cohort welcomes Pureprofile to the UK office

It has been an interesting week at the UK office, and it marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for the team here at Cohort.

We have been visited by Wout Van Damme, the head of Sparc Media, and welcomed Tim Potter, the head of Pureprofile UK, plus Rebecca and Charlotte, into our UK office. This is a crucial step in the integration of Cohort into Pureprofile, and we are eager to begin working closely with them in the future.

Pureprofile is a data insights and programmatic media company. It sits at the heart of where programmatic media, big data and quantitative research converge. Through its deep connection with real people, Pureprofile delivers the next generation in marketing solutions for brands, publishers and researchers.

Christmas 2016 in the Sydney Office

The Sydney office had a great time at the annual Christmas party. We have had a brilliant year and we are looking forward to 2017.

At Cohort, we like to get involved in creating positive changes in our community by giving back, which is why Cohort has enjoyed the opportunity to support the Weave Youth & Community Service in South Sydney since 2009. This is a non-profit community organisation that has been working with vulnerable children and women for over 35 years. As part of our annual Christmas party, we organised yet another one with lots of presents and a cheerful Santa with his Elves. You can read more about it by clicking here.

Yet again, we would like to use this occasion to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Cohort celebrates Christmas 2016 with the Weave

Since 2009, Cohort has been hosting Christmas parties for vulnerable children in South Sydney for the Weave Youth and Community Services. This is a non-profit community organisation that has been working with vulnerable children and women for over 35 years. This initiative was set-up by Marleen De Rooy and Maeve Dunne who used to work at Cohort, which we continue to support.

As part of the festivities, over 150 children have received a present from our Santa and over 30 women have received support from Cohort. We have also helped out with other projects such as the Weave Office Fit Out and the Water Colour Sistas Art Exhibition.

We are continuing our support of disadvantaged and vulnerable young people, women, children and families with the Weave in the upcoming year!

Christmas 2016 in the London Office

The London office had a great time at the annual Christmas party held at Bunga Bunga on December the 8th. Our Global COO, Malcolm Treanor, was able to join the celebrations whilst on his UK tour. This Christmas party was especially important as we were able to celebrate with some of our newer members.

With the Christmas spirit in mind, Cohort have donated several gifts to St Mary’s Hospital in London, to give the children that have to spend Christmas in hospital a chance to enjoy Christmas like they would at home. We would like to encourage further donations, so if you are able, please click below to see how you can help the children supported by the COSMIC Charity.

Finally, we would like to use this occasion to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Cohort joins Steptember

Cohort Global is pleased to be participating in Steptember this coming month to raise funds for people with cerebral palsy. The charity’s aim is to create a comfortable life for children and adults with physical disabilities and other disabilities. Cerebral palsy is a disability that restricts a person’s movement. That is why Steptember challenges you to take 10,000 steps a day each every day for the duration of September. Those participating raise funds to support the Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s programs and services.

As Cohort is a firm supporter of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, we have formed multiple teams to raise those much needed funds. One of the best ways you can support us is by donating using the links below each team.
